The brown soup cup with a high-quality, insulating corrugated cover is made from the natural raw material paper with a PLA coating, and is therefore a more environmentally friendly alternative to disposable plastic bowls.

The round, dimensionally stable 500 ml soup cups (diameter 116 mm, height 103 mm) are food-safe, tasteless and suitable for both dry and moist food. Thanks to the outer, ribbed shell, it is difficult for the heat from the food to escape to the outside, which means that it stays hot for longer.

This product is certified according to DIN 13432 and is therefore considered "biodegradable". According to DIN 13432, more than 90% of the starting material for the product breaks down into water, carbon dioxide and biomass after a specified period of time under defined temperature, oxygen and humidity conditions in the presence of microorganisms or fungi. A composting time of 10 weeks is taken as a basis for testing the biodegradability*.
