This brown plate with its unique, textured design is made from discarded palm fronds of the nut palm. These palm fronds are residual material from the palm tree, which would normally decompose on the ground. They are collected, cleaned with fresh spring water, placed in a water bath, and then machine-pressed into shape.

The rectangular plate, measuring 25 x 25 cm, is suitable for direct contact with dry foods.

This versatile plate is oil-resistant and offers an attractive alternative to conventional plastic bowls.

This product is certified according to DIN 13432 and is therefore considered "biodegradable." According to DIN 13432, the raw material for this product degrades by more than 90% to water, carbon dioxide, and biomass after a specified period under defined temperature, oxygen, and humidity conditions in the presence of microorganisms or fungi. A composting period of 10 weeks is used as the basis for testing biodegradability*.
