Each bottle contains 500 ml sterile, buffered, isotonic saline solution without preservatives and has a shelf life of 4.5 years.

The eye wash works faster than conventional saline solution. The effect is generally stronger with alkalis than with acids.
In the event of accidents involving calcareous substances (e.g. cement, concrete or lime), the eye wash can be used for rinsing without any worries: the eye wash solution is 100% phosphate-free for optimal rinsing.
